Get paid for the businesses you send us
If you know operators who buy packaging every month, send them our way with your own link. You'll earn a percentage of the profit on everything they order, for as long as they keep ordering, and you can watch it add up on your own private scoreboard.
How it works
?ref=SAM2026)? Ask us.What it pays
We agree your base rate with you when we approve your application. It applies to the profit on every order a confirmed signup places: what they pay minus what the goods cost us, recorded line by line when the order is placed. Their software subscription payments count too, in full, since software has no goods cost. As your confirmed signups add up you move through the tiers below, and from Silver up, each new confirmed signup is written at a higher rate.
| Tier | Confirmed signups | Rate bonus |
|---|---|---|
| Scout | 0+ | base rate |
| Bronze | 1+ | base rate |
| Silver | 3+ | +1% |
| Gold | 10+ | +2% |
| Platinum | 25+ | +3% |
The bonus applies to splits created once you reach that tier. Earlier signups keep the rate they started at. Your scoreboard shows the next tier and what it pays, and we email you the numbers once a month.
Already a customer? You can refer too
Every ElloTree Inventory Management business has its own referral link on its Rewards page. When a business you refer signs up and is confirmed, we credit your account $50.00 - and they get $25.00 in welcome credit too. Our team applies the credit to your orders and invoices.
Questions we get from partners
Do I have to be a customer to become a partner?
No. Anyone we approve can be a partner - consultants, sales reps, people who run trade groups, newsletter writers. Customers get their own referral link too, on their Rewards page. That one earns account credit instead of a commission.
What counts as "profit"?
What the business pays, minus what the goods cost us. We record it on every order line when the order is placed, and your percentage applies to that number. It's a smaller base than gross revenue, but it's money that actually exists, so we won't have to quietly rework the program a couple of years from now.
When and how do I get paid?
Commissions build up in the ledger each month as the orders behind them are invoiced. Your scoreboard always shows what has accrued and what has been paid. We arrange payouts with you directly - message us from the scoreboard. If you're in the US we may ask for a Form W-9, and we issue a 1099 where the law requires one.
How long does my link count after someone clicks it?
Thirty days, and the first click wins. If your link is the first partner link a visitor follows, their signup is credited to you, even if they click someone else's link later. Once they sign up, that attribution is permanent.
What does "confirmed" mean?
Every signup that comes in through a partner link is checked for fraud before it starts paying. Our team checks each signup by hand before it is confirmed. That check is how we keep rates sustainable for partners who refer real businesses.
Can my link use my name instead of a random code?
Yes. Ask us and we'll set up a custom code like ?ref=SAM2026, and your history moves over with it. The one catch: links you've already printed with the old code go stale.
What happens if I stop promoting?
Nothing bad. Businesses that were confirmed under your link keep paying your split for as long as they keep ordering. Your tier stays where it is and your scoreboard link keeps working. Tiers only move up with new confirmed signups, and nothing gets clawed back.
A few ground rules
- You're an independent contractor. You aren't an employee, agent or representative of ElloTree Inventory Management, and you can't make promises on our behalf. The full wording is in the Partner Program section of the Terms of Service.
- Tell people you earn a commission when you promote us. The FTC requires it.
- Every signup is checked before it pays, to catch fraud. Self-referrals, fake signups and cookie stuffing will get you removed from the program, and any unpaid commissions are forfeited.
- The first click wins, for thirty days. The first partner link a visitor follows is the one their signup credits. If there's ever a dispute, our records decide it.
